ChatGPTMemberships: how to choose and how to buy
ChatGPT Membership top-ups come in two types: one tops up your own account (keeping chat history, custom instructions, Projects), and the other delivers a ready-made account with membership included. The former suits people who already have a ChatGPT account and use it long-term; the latter suits those who just registered or whose old account is no longer usable. The warranty boundaries differ between the two, so it's worth understanding before ordering.
Differences between Philippines, US, and exclusive ready-made accounts
Philippines (¥135 and up) and US (¥158 and up) both top up your own account; the difference is the billing region and billing price: the Philippines rate is lower per unit, while US is usually more stable with a shorter renewal path. The exclusive ready-made account (¥158) directly gives you a Gmail account with 1 month of membership, suited to those starting from scratch who don't want to touch their old account - but since it's a new account, the warranty period is 20–25 days, shorter than the 30 days for top-ups, so know this in advance.
Plus Which to choose between Plus and Pro
Plus(¥135–158) is the mainstream choice: GPT-5 series, web browsing, file and image understanding, and voice are all included, enough for daily writing, translation, research, and coding. Pro (¥798–1258) targets heavy users; the core difference is a higher usage cap and a longer deep-reasoning quota - if you repeatedly hit the "usage limit reached" prompt in a day, that's the reason to upgrade to Pro; if you only use it occasionally, Plus offers better value. Pro also comes in 5X and 20X tiers, plus a renewal-only tier (¥1258); renewal costs a bit more than a new subscription, which is normal.
Warranty scope
All top-ups and ready-made accounts are marked "no ban guarantee": the warranty covers delivery issues such as activation failure, membership loss, and non-receipt, with replacement or refund after verification; accounts banned for violating OpenAI's usage policies are not covered. This isn't a disclaimer - we can neither see the reason for platform-side bans nor appeal them, so we can't promise. To reduce risk, don't use top-up accounts for automation, bulk generation, or sharing among multiple people.
